We recently organized a workshop with 50 dedicated teachers from local ICDS (Anganwadi) centers and Shishu Shiksha Kendras (SSKs) across three Gram Panchayats in the Patharpratima region of South Bengal.
As part of our NRich ECCE program, we organized workshops for teachers from the local ICDS (Anganwadi) centers and Shishu Shiksha Kendras (SSKs) across three Gram Panchayats of the Patharpratima block of South Bengal.
During these half-day workshops, teachers learnt about the NRich ECCE program and its activity-based teaching techniques, and also engaged in hands-on training using intuitive Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs). The response from the teachers was extremely encouraging, as they all agreed that the new approaches they learnt would help them make classrooms more engaging and help children achieve stronger learning outcomes.
Sample TLMs designed by our team was given to the attendees for use in their classrooms.
