In India, many children struggle with academic and social pressures due to limited emotional tools and support systems. Rising stress and anxiety are directly affecting learning outcomes and classroom behavior. Yet, mental health support remains inaccessible for most, with only 41% of Indian children seeking help—far below the global average.
While School Mental Health Programs exist, their reach and impact remain limited. A shortage of trained professionals, inconsistent delivery, and low awareness of preventive, well-being-focused practices—like positive psychology—have created critical gaps in addressing students’ and educators’ emotional needs.
OUR APPROACH
EkagraNow is a well-being program that builds emotional strength and resilience in students of all ages. Grounded in positive psychology, it develops skills like critical thinking, decision-making, self-image, and emotional control. Through iteractive sessions and reflective activities, the program engages students, teachers, and parents alike. Pre- and post-assessments help track emotional and behavioral growth over time.
